Joy is Justice: A Pretrial Justice MN Community Kickoff

Join us for a community gathering as we kick off the Pretrial Justice MN Coalition! Stop by for ice cream, lawn games, and good company and find out how we’re working to transform cash bail in Minnesota.

Why get involved? Too many people remain in jail before trial simply because they cannot afford cash bail. Together, we’re working to build a pretrial system that protects community safety, supports those impacted by crime, and ensures equal access to freedom and justice. Come learn, connect, and help us grow this movement.

Join the Coalition

Coalition members are values-aligned organizations, advocacy groups, and criminal legal professionals from across the state, working together to advance pretrial justice in Minnesota. We meet regularly to build community, discuss our shared goals, and make decisions about the direction of our movement.

Court Watch Shifts

Our organizers host court watching sessions in Hennepin and Ramsey Counties in Minnesota. We’re in Ramsey Co. on the 4th Monday of each month at 9 a.m., and in Hennepin Co. on the 1st Thursday and 2nd Monday of each month at 1:30 p.m.
